Project objectives for each level of education
The project aims to build a widespread English-using ecosystem, from initial experience to in-depth application, affecting nearly 30 million children, pupils, students and 1 million teachers nationwide. Here are the main objectives:
-
Preschool education: Help children experience and get familiar with English, develop basic communication skills, and prepare a solid foundation for secondary school.
-
General education: Support students in developing English skills to develop their thinking, qualities and learning capacity. By 2030, 1001 TP3T general schools will teach English as a compulsory subject from grade 1, with at least 201 TP3T reaching the basic level of use (level 1). By 2045, at least 501 TP3T schools will reach this level.
-
Higher education: Build an environment for effective English use in teaching, teacher training and lecturer training. By 2030, at least 201 TP3T university institutions will reach level 1, gradually increasing to 501 TP3T by 2045. Universities will become the national leading pillars in the English ecosystem, promoting integration, knowledge transfer and innovation.
To implement this, the project will recruit about 22,000 more English teachers (12,000 for preschool and nearly 10,000 for primary school), and train more than 200,000 teachers by 2035. This is an important step to prepare our children for international integration!
