This is an important first step for them to get acquainted with international exams. Don&#039;t worry, Starters is designed to encourage and build your children&#039;s confidence!<\/p>\n<h2 dir=\"ltr\">Starters exam structure<\/h2>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">The Starters test consists of 3 main parts, with a total time of about 20 minutes:<\/p>\n<ol class=\"tight\" dir=\"ltr\" data-tight=\"true\">\n<li>\n<p dir=\"ltr\"><strong>Listening (4 parts, 20 questions)<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul class=\"tight\" dir=\"ltr\" data-tight=\"true\">\n<li>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Children will listen to short conversations and answer questions. For example: Listen to \u201cWhere is the cat?\u201d and choose the picture of a cat in the house.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p dir=\"ltr\"><strong>Reading &amp; Writing (5 parts, 25 questions)<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul class=\"tight\" dir=\"ltr\" data-tight=\"true\">\n<li>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Includes simple reading and fill-in-the-blanks.
