This exam proves that they can use English in daily life, study and work. Parents can support their children during this important stage to achieve good results.<\/p>\n<h2 dir=\"ltr\">PET exam structure<\/h2>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">The PET exam consists of 3 parts, total time is about 2 hours and 30 minutes:<\/p>\n<ol class=\"tight\" dir=\"ltr\" data-tight=\"true\">\n<li>\n<p dir=\"ltr\"><strong>Reading (Reading \u2013 6 parts, 32 questions)<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul class=\"tight\" dir=\"ltr\" data-tight=\"true\">\n<li>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Read and understand articles or emails. For example: Choose the correct answer for the sentence \u201cThe weather is nice today.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p dir=\"ltr\"><strong>Writing (Writing \u2013 2 parts)<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul class=\"tight\" dir=\"ltr\" data-tight=\"true\">\n<li>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Write a short email (100 words) or small essay. For example: \u201cWrite an email to a friend about your weekend.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p dir=\"ltr\"><strong>Listening (4 parts, 25 questions)<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul class=\"tight\" dir=\"ltr\" data-tight=\"true\">\n<li>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">You will listen to conversations and fill in the information.
